At its March 19 meeting, the Holly Springs Town Council approved aesthetic requirements for small wireless telecommunications facilities while asking the Planning Board to explore further refinement with staff.
The ordinance aims to reduce duplicative poles and visual clutter, and to establish reasonable standards.
Also at the meeting, the council directed staff to prepare a revision to town regulations, creating consistency between construction times and activities in town engineering standards and those in the town’s noise ordinance.
The council approved a development options plan for a subdivision off Cass Holt Road, south of Honeycutt Road, and approved voluntary annexation of its 43 acres.
Latisha Butler took the oath of office as deputy town clerk. Shaun McGrath and Dana Rybak were sworn in as Planning Board members.
