AT&T Wireless customers can resume dialing 911 for emergencies. The 911 calling issue Saturday that affected AT&T Wireless customers has been diagnosed and fixed.
No land lines or other wireless customers were affected by the malfunction, which began early Saturday. The cause was described as a service provider's router configuration issue.
Until the issue was resolved, AT&T Wireless customers were able to reach Holly Springs' 911 center by dialing its 10-digit non-emergency number.
