The Community Arts Festival is Feb. 1-6 at Holly Springs Cultural Center and features classes, performances, art displays, a vendor showcase and gala fund-raiser.
The fourth annual festival is a collaboration of the Holly Springs Arts Council and the Holly Springs Cultural Center. This year’s theme is Imagination.
“The Community Arts Festival is an opportunity for all residents of the area to try something new with the arts,” says Brenda Priest, Arts Council president.
Free, single-session classes cover a variety of topics and age groups. Register at recconnect.us or at the cultural center at 300 W. Ballentine St.
Ticketed events include a dance recital on Thursday, Feb. 4 and "Twain: The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" by Holly Springs Readers Theater on Friday, Feb. 5.
The festival ends Saturday, Feb 6 with a full day and evening of offerings, including food truck rodeo, classes and vendor showcase.
The gala fund-raiser Saturday night features appetizers, cash bar, art auctions, and featured performer Chuck Davis and the African American Dance Ensemble. Tickets are $15 in advance at $20 at the door.
