Beginning Oct. 6, get car registration tags and pay vehicle property taxes at a new license plate office in South Park Village shopping center.
The office will be open weekdays form 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 408 Village Walk. It will be in the former Curves space next to Harris Teeter.
Visit for handicap parking placards and state wildlife vessel registrations, and for notary and car titling services.
The town has been working for the past two years to get this N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles office to save a trip to Cary or Angier for residents who don’t get car tags online.
The Holly Springs office will not serve as a driver’s license testing bureau. The nearest office for that is at 131 South Fuquay Ave. in Fuquay-Varina.
