[ARCHIVED] Fireworks and Other Fun Sunday in Sugg Farm Park

Top off the holiday weekend Sunday, July 5 with more fun and fireworks during Holly Springs' celebration of our nation's birthday in Sugg Farm Park.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with food vendors, inflatables, rides, crafts, and games including a cornhole tournament.

Musical performers include Holly Springs Community Band, Blue Note Dixieland Band, Kudzu Ramblers, and GB4.

Fireworks start about 9:15 p.m. No outside sparklers or other fireworks are allowed.

Sugg Farm is on Grigsby Avenue just down the road from the ball fields at Womble Park.

Parking outside Sugg Farm is available only on the Womble Park side of Grigsby Avenue. Cars should face Main Street since no U-turns will be allowed when leaving.

At 9 p.m., vehicles will be prevented from entering so both lanes can be used to exit.

For about 30 minutes after the fireworks, the right lane of exiting traffic will be for pedestrians.

At about 10 p.m., both lanes will open to vehicles. Police will direct one lane up Grigsby and the other along Blooming Meadows Road to reach Stinson Avenue.
