Town offices, the Cultural Center and the Hunt Recreation Center will be closed for Memorial Day this Monday, May 25. Bass Lake Park remains open. Trash and recycling service will be delayed one day throughout next week with service running Tuesday through Saturday.

Friday
Free Outdoor Blues Concert
6:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center
The first Summer at the Springs outdoor concert begins at 6:30 p.m. as the Lockdown Blues Band performs on the lawn outside the Holly Springs Cultural Center. Freeze pops, beer and wine will be sold. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner.
Saturday
Holly Springs Farmers Market
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. downtown
Farmers market vendors have what you need to kick off the summer! Come by the market on Main Street across from Town Hall and meet Sal the Salamander, as well as Princess Belle and a couple of her friends. Enjoy children’s activities and live music as the Free States performs from 10:30 a.m. until the market closes. Click here for more market details.

10 a.m. at the Cultural Center
Enjoy a free movie at the Holly Springs Cultural Center Saturday morning!
Pro Series Catfish Tournament
7-11 p.m. at Bass Lake Park
Come for a night tournament when the big fish bite! The cost to enter the tournament is $5 per person. Each participant’s three largest catfish will be weighed to determine who takes home fishing-related prizes donated by Cabela’s. Arrive about a half hour early to register at the park office or even earlier to grab a lakeside spot.

Memorial Day
Though most Town facilities are closed for Memorial Day, Bass Lake Park (and the park office) is open. Rent a boat and enjoy a trip across the lake! Or, remember those who died in service of our country at Veterans Park. Click here for information on the War on Terror Memorial at the park.
