[ARCHIVED] Garbage, Recycling Collected Through Sunday

Waste Industries resumed garbage and recycling service Friday. Crews will work through Sunday to complete the week's collection.

Waste Industries advised Wednesday, Thursday and Friday route customers to set carts at the curb on Friday and leave them there until emptied. That minimizes the chances of missing service.

The company said crews have completed the Monday and Tuesday routes and were collecting Friday from Wednesday customers. The plan is to run Thursday routes on Saturday and Friday routes on Sunday.

However, it's best to set carts out on Friday rather than waiting since the timing of collection could vary.

Call the Town's Public Works Department at (919) 552-5920 with questions about solid waste service.
