[ARCHIVED] Main Street Christmas and Happy Holly Days Parade This Weekend

Celebrate the season this weekend with Main Street Christmas on Friday evening, Dec. 12 and with the Happy Holly Days Christmas Parade the following morning.

Main Street Christmas is from 6-8 p.m. at Town Hall and at Holly Springs Cultural Center.

Enjoy visits with Santa at Town Hall, stories with Mrs. Claus at the cultural center, live entertainment, hayrides and refreshments. Santa leaves Town Hall at 7:30 for the tree lighting festivities, which will be at the cultural center outdoor stage.

The parade Dec. 13 begins at 11 a.m. It starts near the Food Lion, but isn’t fully formed until reaching Holly Springs Road. It’s always the second Saturday of December.

Nearly 100 entries are in the Happy Holly Days Parade. The Holly Springs Kiwanis Club is presenter of the parade with the Town as sponsor.

The parade will proceed unless the weather is really bad. There is no rain date.
