[ARCHIVED] Give us your 2-cents worth this weekend

The price of a cup of a cup of coffee in Holly Springs Friday and Saturday will be only 2 cents at one of our 2-Cent Coffee Booths hosted by the Town of Holly Springs and our branding study consulting firm, Streetsense. If you give us your 2-cents worth, we’ll give you a cup of coffee!

Last week, nearly 1,000 responded to an initial survey to select words, phrases and images that spoke to them as representative of Holly Springs. From those responses, the Streetsense team developed three “mood boards” containing colors and images illustrating the most popular responses in the branding survey. The next phase in the project is to narrow the field of three down to one tone.

That’s where you and your 2 cents come in.

This Friday and Saturday, stop by one of our coffee stations set up near businesses and public spaces. Give us your 2-cents on the mood boards, fill out a brief electronic survey and get a free cup of coffee. Your 2 cents (get it?) will help us focus our efforts to design a new logo and brand identity for the town.

Stop by and give us your 2 cents if you see our booth. As they are confirmed, exact locations and times will be announced, and we hope you will come see us! Confirmed coffee stations are: 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Womble Park and 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Holly Springs Farmers Market.

If you can’t make the trip to one of our coffee booths, the survey will be available online beginning Friday, and you can give us your impressions of the mood boards and take the survey through a link on the Town of Holly Springs Web site:
