[ARCHIVED] Prescription Drug Drop-Off Held Saturday, March 22

The Holly Springs Police Department will collect expired or unneeded medicine Saturday, March 22 from 8 a.m. until noon at police headquarters. Child safety seat inspections will be offered there at the same time.

In addition to deterring accidents and hindering drug abuse, medicine drops provide an environmentally-friendly alternative to flushing unwanted medicines down the toilet.

In addition to occasional Saturday collections such as the one on March 22, the Police Department has a collection box inside headquarters. The indoor drop-off box is available weekdays during office hours and by appointment.

The Police Department is at 301 Ballentine St. next to Town Hall. For more information, call (919) 552-7110.
