In partnership with Rain Water Solutions, the Town of Holly Springs is offering rain barrels at wholesale pricing to help residents conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff in their communities.
For a limited time purchase your Classic Black 50 gallon Ivy Rain Barrel at a discounted price of $73 per barrel. Deadline to place online orders is Sunday, June 11 at 11 p.m. Pickup will be on Saturday, June 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park.
The rain barrel captures rainwater from roof-tops by connecting to the homes downspout. This water would typically be sent down the storm drain carrying potential contaminants and contributing to flash flooding. The cumulative effect of rain barrels implemented throughout a geographic area can have a significant impact on stormwater management and water quality. Not only can water collected by the rain barrels be used for gardens, lawns and to wash cars and pets, but by participating in this program you will participate in Town-wide goals for water quality protection.
