On the one-year anniversary of the downtown parking deck opening to the public, town leaders and community members gathered to unveil a plaque and reflect on what partnerships can do for our community.
Many thanks to all who participated in this project, including CLH Design PA, the landscape architecture and civil engineering company that completed part of the site design and to Geekorman Media for creating this video that highlights the parking deck and downtown Holly Springs.
The deck, with 198 spaces, was a result of a public/private partnership between the town and the Trustwell group and The Block investors aimed at supporting growth in the downtown district. Thanks to all who participated in this project.
“You must have ample parking in order to bring people downtown,” said Mayor Dick Sears. “Now we can support all the mom and pop businesses that make our downtown unique and furthermore, all the jobs that have been created.”
