Picnic Shelter Rentals

All rentals require a $25 deposit. Reservations must be made in person at the corresponding contact listed above. All rental fees are due at the time of reservation. 

Half Day Rentals: (8 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. - sunset)

  • Bass Lake Shelter: $40 for residents and $60 for non-residents
  • Veterans Park Shelter: $40 for residents and $60 for non-residents 
  • Womble Park Shelter: $60 for residents and $90 for non-residents

Full Day Rentals (8 a.m. - sunset)

  • Bass Lake Shelter: $75 for residents and $113 for non-residents
  • Veterans Park Shelter: $75 for residents and $113 for non-residents
  • Womble Park Shelter: $110 for residents and $165 for non-residents

Shelter Rental Information

Shelters are available to rent seven days a week and may be rented up to six months in advance. 

  • Shelters must be rid of all belongings and cleaned by the end of the rental time. 
  • Painter's tape may be used however, the use of push pins, staples, or tape is prohibited. All trash must be disposed of. 
  • Additional tables and seating are not allowed. Picnic tables do not move. 
  • Loud noises of any kind are prohibited. Amplified music and DJs are not allowed. 
  • Inflatables, extension cords, canopies, tents and alcohol are prohibited.
  • Personal grills are not permitted in the picnic shelter or parking lot. Pig cookers are allowed pending advanced park staff approval. Park staff will direct where the cooker must be placed, and it must remain there throughout the entirety of the rental. Pig cookers must be attended at all times. A drip pan must be placed under the cooker to prevent damage to the underlying surface.
