Bass Lake Day

Annual Nature and Environmental Education Festival
1st Saturday in October, 2-6 p.m.
Bass Lake Park

The festival features:
  • Live music on the deck
  • Interactive exhibits on recycling, falconry, vermicomposting, bow hunting, native wildlife, fire safety, water quality, gardening and much more
  • Crafts and games
  • Live animals such as hawks, snakes, turtles, owls and frogs
Join us for a day nature, music, and fun! All free.


Wondering where to park for Bass Lake Day? The main parking lot at Bass Lake Park and the overflow parking lot at the picnic shelter fill up quickly.

A shuttle will run continuously between Holly Springs Elementary School (401 Holly Springs Road) and Bass Lake Park, 1:30-6:30 p.m.

If you are parking on public roads near Bass Lake Park, please do not block driveways, do not leave litter and stay off private property.

Handicapped accessible spaces are located at the park and at the shelter overflow parking.
