Family Fun Night Come to Bass Lake Park for an evening of free family fun the first Friday of every month! From 6-7 p.m., make arts and crafts, meet a live animal or borrow a fishing pole. From 7-8 p.m. watch Dan the Magic Man’s show or join singer and storyteller Trish Miller for special children’s concerts on the deck overlooking the lake. Bring a chair and a picnic dinner. The event will be moved into the conference room if bad weather dampens the fun.
Family Bingo From 7-9 p.m. on the second Friday of the month, March-October, enjoy a little friendly competition! We play 13 games each night. Cards are $1 at the door, and all money leaves as a prize. Most games will pay out to the winner’s neighbors as well, so if you are not lucky, sit by somebody who is! Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Senior Bingo Seniors ages 55 and older, join us for everyone's favorite game the first and third Wednesday of the month from 1-3 p.m. Cash prizes are up to $10, and the cost is $1 per card at the door. no preregistration is required. Please do not bring children unless the grandparent is the caretaker. Participants must be age 55 or older; anyone under age 55 accompanying a senior will not be allowed to play.
Discovering Nature This class encourages children ages 4-6 to explore the natural world and is offered the second Tuesday of the month, 10-11:30 a.m. Small class sizes and age-appropriate experiments, activities and games allow children to make their own discoveries while having fun. Each class focuses on a different nature topic. Space is limited, and preregistration is required. no unregistered siblings, please.
Explore a Story This free children's story time and nature exploration program is geared for ages 3-5, but all are welcome. Enjoy story time, nature explorations and nature crafts. We go for short, exploratory walks if the weather permits. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration is required!
